 The following bill regarding MEDCO funds (MEDCO is a state quasi-public agency) and their use at horse tracks has been posted due to Allegany County's inclusion in this bill. Toward the end of the legislation, it is noted that the proposed track in Allegany County, that has yet to be constructed, is eligible for MEDCO funds for the unbuilt track's re-development. Yes, it seems a bit strange that the state would provide for the re-development of a track that doesn't exist, but there you go.
